When a student fails one semester of a two-semester course, the District will award credit for both semesters if the student passes the other semester with a grade high enough so that the combined average of the two semesters is 70 or higher.

Here, you will find General information on High Schools, Assessments, Academic Programs, Graduation Plans, FWISD Programs of Choice, FWISD Schools of Choice, as well as Course Descriptions. In order to search for a specific course or keyword, follow these simple instructions.
Step 1) Select or click on the center of the "COURSE CATALOG" Button.
Step 2) On your keyboard, hit CTRL (for Windows users) or CMD (for Mac Users), and "F". [CTRL+F] or [CMD+F].
Step 3) In the search bar, type in the course title or keyword.
Step 4) Click the arrow to browse through the Course Catalog and find where the term you searched for appears.

What is a Transcript?
Your high school transcript is a complete record of your academic achievements in high school. It starts with the first high school credit you take and is updated each semester until you graduate.
Your transcript includes:
-The name of your high school
-Your name, address, and date of birth
-The courses you’ve taken, when and where you took them
-Your grades for each semester
-The number of credits you earned for each course
-Your weighted and unweighted cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) for core classes
-The date you mastered the EOC exams
-Any academic endorsement, and performance acknowledgement you’ve received
Your transcript includes:

UNofficial transcripts can be requested from your counselor AT ANY TIME.
OFFICIAL transcripts Can Be Requested by YOU via the Xello App located in FWISD Apps ClassLink Page. This free service is ideal if you are attending a college/university in Texas. To request an official transcript, follow these steps: 1) From the Student Dashboard, under ‘Goals & Plans’, click ‘College Applications’. (Do this step even if you already applied to the college! This step is for Xello only.) 2) From the list of institutions, select the one to which you want transcript sent. 3) Under the ‘Application Checklist’ find ‘Transcript’. 4) To the right, click ’Request’. A banner at the top of the screen will indicate the request was sent. IN ADDITION, current students can visit the Registrar, Mr. Hickox located next to the principal's office to request an OFFICIAL transcript. When requesting the transcript, you must be ready to provide the email or mailing address admissions office of the college/university you are applying to. NOTE: If you are requesting a transcript be mailed, $1.00 will be charged unless a pre-filled stamped envelope is provided to Mr. Hickox. In ADDITION, students can request a transcript be sent digitally to the institution of your choice via a third-party service called 'Parchment'. You must create a parchment account and there is a fee associated with this service. “Official Transcripts” will be signed by the School Registrar and
embossed with the school seal. |

Please contact school registrar, Mr. Hickox to request a copy of your transcript.
Please be prepared to provide Mr. Hickox with the email address or the mailing address to admissions office for the college/university you are wanting to send your transcript to. NOTE: If you are requesting the transcript be mailed, please be prepared to pay $1.00 for this service unless YOU are providing a stamped, prefilled envelope. Graduates PRIOR to 2020
All transcripts for graduates between 1920-2019 must be ordered via the SribSoft link below. Fort Worth ISD has partnered with ScribSoft (the makers of ScribOrder) to offer a convenient and secure website for former students, corporations and post-secondary institutions to request transcripts, enrollment histories and education verifications online. Please note that there is a fee associated with this service.

A résumé is a document that sums up your skills, experiences and accomplishments so a potential employer or university can quickly see whether you are a good fit. Before you start applying for schools or jobs, you'll need to write a résumé. Even if you're new to the workforce, a strong résumé can help you stand out in the crowd. Résumés don't all look alike, but there are some general guidelines. Employers generally prefer that they fit on one side of one page. They also should always look professional—no pink paper or fancy fonts. Look at the examples of a résumé posted or that come with most word-processing programs for some ideas. You can also check out sites such as Monster Jobs and CareerBuilder for résumé samples. You can also download an example one below.
